New R.P School

If you go past the Habak Crossing in Srinagar, you’ll find us. This school has been around for some time now. We occupy a building that isn’t too far from the main road. Every morning, the gates open and the kids start coming in from the nearby neighborhoods. It’s a standard school setup with classrooms and blackboards. We don’t use much technology here, mostly just books and pens. The teachers stay busy with their lesson plans. During breaks, the playground gets quite noisy with all the shouting and running around. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students, it’s a constant job. Our focus is just on the daily lessons and making sure everyone shows up on time. We have a small staff room where we drink tea and talk about the day's schedule. The building has seen many winters and summers. We deal with the usual problems like leaky roofs or cold rooms in January. It’s just a normal school where local kids come to study. We don’t have any fancy brochures or big signs. Most people hear about us through their neighbors. We just keep our heads down and do the teaching work. It’s a quiet life here at the crossing, apart from the school hours when everything is moving fast. We’ve been part of this community for years and plan to stay.
