Pingerove Restaurant

You can find us at the Hotel Pinegrove on Boulevard. We are on the 3rd Cross, which is a pretty well-known area in Srinagar. The lake is right there, so you get that nice breeze, though in winter it gets really cold. The restaurant is part of the hotel, but we get plenty of people coming in who aren't staying with us. It’s a bit of a climb to the restaurant area, but it’s a nice enough space once you get there. We’ve been operating here for quite some time now. The vibe is quiet compared to the main road. We serve mostly traditional stuff and some comfort food for the tourists who miss home. Our staff knows the area well, so they’re always chatting with guests about where to go next. We don’t have a huge, fancy team, just a few cooks and waiters who have been doing this for years. Sometimes the power goes out or the supply truck is late because of the weather, but we manage. It’s just how things work here. We try to keep the place warm and the tea hot. It’s a simple spot to sit down after a long day of walking around the Boulevard. We aren’t trying to be the most modern place in the city. We just want to be a reliable place where you can get a decent meal without any fuss.
