Nice Restaurant

Nice Restaurant is tucked away in the Sonwar Bagh area of Srinagar. We are located near B B Cantt in Batwara. It’s a part of the city that feels a bit more grounded than the busy markets. Our restaurant is a small, local establishment. We don't have fancy signs or a big entrance. It is just a door that leads into our dining room. The building is older, and you can see that in the floors and the walls. We have been serving food here for a long time. Srinagar can be very cold, so we try to make the inside feel okay for people coming in from the wind. We don't have a huge menu with hundreds of items. We just make a few things every day and make sure they are fresh for the guests. Most of the people who eat here live nearby or are visiting the Cantt area. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to tell us how to talk to customers. We just say hello and bring them their tea or food as quickly as we can. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the lunch hour hits and everyone comes in at once. We don't use fancy ingredients from far away. We just buy what we can find at the local markets. It is a simple way of doing business, but it has worked for us so far. We are just here every day, making sure the food is ready.
