Kounsar College Of Education. We are situated in Srinagar, right in the Hawal area near Alamgari Bazar. It’s a very traditional part of the city, and you can feel the history around Nowshera. The college is mostly for people who want to become teachers. Srinagar has its own pace, and we follow that here. When it snows, things get a bit difficult, but we try to keep the classes running as much as we can. The students come from all over the valley. Our classrooms are simple, and the library has the books they need for their education courses. It’s a local place through and through. The staff knows the local schools where our students go for their practice teaching. We spend a lot of time talking about how to manage a classroom. It’s not a fancy place with glass walls; it’s a regular building with a lot of character. You can hear the sounds of the bazaar nearby during the day. We drink a lot of tea to stay warm and discuss the day’s work. It’s a quiet, dedicated atmosphere. We don't really do anything flashy. People come here because they know the name and they want to get their teaching degree. We just provide the space and the guidance to help them get through their exams and start their careers in schools. It is a humble life here and we are quite used to it.
