National Guest House

We are located in the Raj Bagh area of Srinagar, right by the Zero Bridge. It’s a pretty well-known spot. National Guest House is where we spend all our time, making sure the rooms are ready for whoever comes to stay. Srinagar is a busy city with lots of people coming and going, and being near the bridge means we see a lot of people passing by every day. Our building isn't a big modern hotel, it’s more of a traditional guest house. We have people coming from all over to visit. Some stay for a night, others stay for a week. We handle the laundry, the cleaning, and talking to the guests about where to go in town. It’s a quiet life for the most part, though things pick up during the tourist season. We don't have a big corporate team. It’s just us and a few helpers keeping the place running. Sometimes the heaters act up or we have to fix a leak, but that’s just how it goes with older buildings. We try to keep things comfortable in a simple way. You won't find us using big marketing words. We just offer a bed and a roof near Zero Bridge. It’s a decent place to rest while you are exploring the valley. We usually start the day early by checking the rooms and making sure there is tea for the guests. It’s nice to hear the stories of where people have traveled from. We just keep things moving along day by day in this corner of Raj Bagh.
