Mezbaan Bukhara Restaurant

We are located inside the Hotel Grand Mumtaz on Maulana Azad Link Road. Srinagar is a beautiful place, and our spot is right near the SRTC, which makes it easy for anyone to find. Mezbaan Bukhara has been serving people here for a good while now. We focus on the traditional kind of food that people expect when they come to Kashmir. The restaurant is inside the hotel, so we get a lot of visitors from outside the state, but local families come here too for dinner. It is a bit more formal than a roadside stall, but we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed for everyone. The kitchen uses old recipes that have been around forever. We do not try to change things just for the sake of being trendy. It is about the meat, the spices, and the slow cooking. Winters can be tough in Srinagar, but we keep the place warm and the tea hot. Sometimes the road outside gets blocked with snow or traffic, but we stay open as much as we possibly can. The staff knows how to handle the busy tourist seasons. We are not part of some giant corporation; we just run this place as best as we know how. It is hard work, but when you see someone enjoying a proper meal, it feels like we are doing something right. We have been part of this street for years and plan to stay.
