Khyber Cafeteria

Our cafeteria is located in the Nowpora area of Srinagar, right on the main road in Khayam. This part of the city is always full of activity, especially with all the shops and people moving around. We aren't a big fancy restaurant; it is more of a place where you stop for a quick bite or a tea. Khayam is known for its food, and we are glad to be part of that local scene. We have been serving the people around here for a while now. The kitchen stays busy from morning until late, making snacks and small meals. You can hear the sounds of the street from the front door, the cars passing and the people talking. It’s a very local vibe. Many of our customers are people who work in the nearby shops or live just down the street. We don’t have a lot of space, but we make it work. The menu is just the basic stuff that everyone likes to eat daily. We keep things clean and try to make sure everyone is fed quickly. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common here, but we just keep going with what we have. It’s a simple life running a cafeteria on a busy road like this. We just focus on the daily routine and making sure the tea is hot for whoever walks in. It gets cold in the winter, so we keep the kettle boiling constantly. People come in to warm their hands and talk about their day. It’s just how things are here.
