Imran Cafeteria

We are located at Khayam Chowk inside the Ikhwan Hotel building. This part of Nowpora in Srinagar has a lot of history and it feels like a real neighborhood. We’ve been operating as Imran Cafeteria for quite some time now. The address is 190003, and if you know the chowk, you know it’s always got something going on. We aren't a big fancy place with menus that you can't understand. We just serve what we have, mostly tea and the usual cafeteria stuff that people expect around here. The hotel guests come down sometimes, but a lot of our customers are just people working nearby in Nowpora. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the tables have some scratches on them, but it’s a real place. We don't go in for all that modern marketing talk. We just wake up, open the shutters, and start the stove. In the winter, it gets really cold, so we try to keep the place as warm as we can for anyone walking in from the snow. It’s a bit cramped when it’s full, but nobody seems to mind too much. We just do our work and go home at night. It’s a simple life running a cafeteria in Srinagar. We don’t try to be anything more than a spot to sit for a minute and have something small. We hope people feel okay here.
