Victory Junior College

Victory Junior College is situated in Kothapeta, in the Narasannapeta area of Srikakulam. It is a junior college, so we deal with students who are finishing up their school years and getting ready for more. The building is right there in the local neighborhood. It is a simple place with several rooms for different subjects. Srikakulam is a quiet district and our college reflects that vibe. We do not have a big fancy entrance. You just walk in and the classrooms are right there. The teachers are regular people who know their subjects well. Students come from the surrounding villages using the local buses every morning. It can get a bit crowded in the hallways between classes. We have benches that have seen a lot of use over the years. There is not any corporate branding or mission statements plastered on the walls. We just have the timetable and the exam notices pinned up. It is a place where young people come to study for their futures. We provide the space and the books. During the summers, it gets quite hot, so we try to keep the rooms ventilated. The staff handles the admissions and the paperwork without much fuss. It is a straightforward educational setup for the local youth in Narasannapeta. We are just a part of the daily life in this corner of Andhra Pradesh.
