Chaitanya Junior College

This college is right on Womens College Road in Srikakulam. It is a busy street, and we are right in the middle of it. The building is pretty standard for this part of town, with classrooms that get quite warm in the afternoons. We have a lot of students coming in from different parts of Srikakulam to study for their intermediate exams. It is a lot of hard work, and you can see the students carrying heavy bags full of textbooks every day. We don’t have any fancy lounges or high-tech gadgets; it is mostly just benches, blackboards, and a lot of paper. The staff room is usually crowded with teachers drinking tea and marking papers during their breaks. Srikakulam can be a bit slow, but the college always feels hurried because there is always another exam coming up soon. We try to keep the fans running to deal with the heat, though they make a bit of a clicking sound. The road outside is always noisy with autos and people walking by. It is just a regular place where people come to get their education done so they can move on to whatever is next in their lives. We have been here at 532001 for a while, and the routine stays pretty much the same year after year. Most of the faculty have lived in the area for a long time, so we know the local families well.
