Gmr Degree College

Our college is at Dno. 2-85/1 in Venkatapuram, which is part of the Etcherla area in Srikakulam. It’s a simple spot not too far from the main road. The weather here can be quite tough because it gets really humid and sticky, especially in the summer. We have a few buildings where the degree classes happen. The classrooms have the standard wooden benches and large windows to let in whatever breeze we can get. Students come here for their graduation, and you’ll see them hanging out near the entrance or under the trees when they don’t have a class. The office is usually busy with someone trying to fix a printer or sorting through admission papers. We don't have a big fancy campus with a lot of staff, just enough people to keep things running every day. There’s a small shop nearby where everyone gets their pens and notebooks. The walls are painted a light color but you can see where people have leaned against them over the years. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students coming and going, there’s always a bit of mud tracked in during the rainy season. It’s just a normal degree college where people come to get their work done and move on with their lives. It’s a practical place for the local families in Srikakulam. It’s a bit of a slow pace but that’s how we like it.
