Kaumudi Degree College

We’ve been running Kaumudi Degree College in Srikakulam for a while now. The address is pretty simple to find if you’re from around here, even though we don't have a huge sign or anything. It’s not one of those massive campuses you see in the really big cities, but it’s ours and it works for what the students need. Most of the people working here grew up in the area, so we know the local students and their families quite well. The college is just a place where young people from Srikakulam come after they finish school to get their degrees and figure out their next steps. We keep things pretty low-key around here. The classrooms have the basic stuff like benches and boards. Some days it gets quite warm, so we’re always checking to make sure the fans are working. We don't have a big PR team or anyone writing things for us. It’s just us, the staff, trying to keep the schedule on track and making sure the exams happen when they’re supposed to. Sometimes things are a bit disorganized, like when the rain hits hard and everyone is running late, but we just carry on. It’s a local place for local people. We have a small office where we keep all the files, and it usually has a stack of papers that never seems to get any smaller. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and get to work. It’s a simple life at the college, focusing on the day-to-day tasks.
