Gnanajyothi Junior College is over by the Old Bus Stand in Narasannapeta. The address is 2-1-4, so it’s right in the middle of things here in Srikakulam. Being a junior college, we deal with students who are in those two important years between school and university. It's a busy time for them and for us too. The area around the old bus stand is always full of life, which makes the morning commute interesting for everyone. Our building has been part of the landscape for a while. We aren't trying to be a big fancy university; we just focus on the basics of the intermediate courses. The rooms are filled with benches and the sounds of teachers going through the lessons. Most of the kids are from around Srikakulam, so everyone kind of knows everyone else. It’s a very local feel. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just open the gates in the morning, conduct the classes, and handle the exams when they come around. It’s a practical place for practical people. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud or the desks have some scratches, but that’s just how it is in a real school. We are right there at the 2-1-4 plot, easy to spot if you are looking for us. We just go about our work and help the local students get to their next step.
