Kakatiya Junior College

Our junior college is located on Konna Street, specifically at D.No 4-138/D in Srikakulam. It’s a busy little street and the college fits right into the neighborhood. We focus on the intermediate years, so we have students who are studying hard for their boards and entrance exams. The building is right there on the street, so you can see the students coming and going all day long. It gets quite warm in Srikakulam, so we have fans in every room to keep everyone as comfortable as possible during the long lectures. The pin code is 532001. We don’t have a massive campus with sports fields; we are more of a city college where every bit of space is used for classrooms or the small office. The staff here is used to the fast pace of the junior college cycle. We have a lot of paperwork to deal with, especially when the exam season approaches and everyone is stressed. People in Srikakulam know us because we’ve been on Konna Street for a while now. We don’t use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just a place where young people come to finish their schooling before they head off to university. It’s practical, it’s a bit crowded sometimes, and it’s very much a part of the daily life in this section of the town. There is a small tea stall just a few doors down where the staff usually gets their morning chai. We just take things one day at a time here.
