Our place is located at 1-206 in Gmr Nagar, which is over in Rajam, part of the Srikakulam district. It’s a fairly quiet area compared to the big cities, but there is still plenty going on. The college grounds are laid out in a way that feels a bit spread out. We have a lot of open space where the wind blows through, which is nice when the weather gets humid. The buildings are mostly functional, made of sturdy materials that stand up to the local climate. You’ll see the 532409 postcode on all our mail, and most people around here know exactly where Gmr Nagar is. The rooms are basic with rows of benches and plenty of natural light coming in from the large windows. We don’t have much in the way of fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just notices and a few charts here and there. The courtyard gets some activity during the lunch hour when everyone comes out to sit and eat together. You can see the dust kicking up if there hasn't been rain for a while. Sometimes the grass grows too long near the edges of the walkways and we have to get someone to trim it back. It’s just a steady, everyday environment where the routine doesn't change much from Monday to Friday. Most of us have been coming here for years and we know every creak in the floorboards.
