Krishna Sai Degree College

We are located at 2-1-4 in Kanchili, which is in the Mandasa area of Srikakulam. This is a degree college, so we are working with young adults who are finished with high school. The setting here is a bit more relaxed than the big cities. Our building is a simple, functional place where students come for their lectures. We offer various degrees, and the students are mostly from the local villages and nearby towns. It’s a quiet area, which is good for studying. We don’t have a massive campus with stadiums or anything like that. It’s just a collection of classrooms, a small office, and a place for students to sit during their breaks. The staff here are mostly locals who understand the challenges students face in this region. We use standard textbooks and the teachers use the chalkboards to explain things. It’s all very traditional. People in Kanchili know us well. We aren’t a fancy university with a lot of money; we just provide the classes people need to get their degrees. Sometimes the power goes out, or it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but everyone just keeps going. It’s an honest, working-class kind of college. We focus on the lectures and getting everyone through their exams so they can find work or move on to more studies in the future. It’s been here for years.
