Vamsadhara Degree College

Vamsadhara Degree College is right there at the 6-1-56 address at Challavanipeta Junction in Jalumuru. Being near a junction in Srikakulam means there’s always noise from the buses and the local shops. The college is a practical sort of place for the kids living around here who need a local option for their higher studies. We don't have a huge campus with gardens; it’s more of a functional building where students come for their classes and then head home or to their part-time jobs. The corridors are usually full of students chatting between lectures. We deal with all the usual college stuff, like organizing the schedules and making sure the exam halls are ready when the time comes. The weather here can be really humid, so everyone is usually carrying a water bottle and trying to stay in the shade. We’ve got a small library that stays pretty busy, though it’s not very big. It’s a humble spot, honestly. The staff here are mostly locals, so we know the families of a lot of the students. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and helping the kids with their forms.
