Samskar International School

We are located right by the Kodiramamurthy Stadium here in Srikakulam. If you know where the Arts College Road is, you’ve probably walked past our building a dozen times. It’s not a huge campus, but we make the most of the space we have. The kids seem to like being near the stadium since there’s always some sports stuff happening nearby. We started this school because there weren't many options right in this part of town for families. It’s a lot of work running a school, more than people think when they look at it from the outside. Some days it feels like we are just managing the noise and the paperwork. We have teachers who really care about the subjects, even if they get frustrated when the kids won't sit still for a whole hour. Our classrooms have the usual stuff—blackboards, wooden benches, and stacks of old books. Nothing is brand new, but we keep it clean enough for the students. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. It’s just us. We spend our time checking homework and making sure the lunch break doesn’t turn into a total riot. People in Srikakulam know us as just another local school. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just want the kids to learn enough so they can do well later on in life. It’s a simple goal, really.
