Even though Nirula'S Corner House Pvt Ltd is a name everyone in New Delhi knows for food, our specific spot here is in Dwarka, Sector 1. We’re located in Pocket-2 at Flat-11, working out of Ajit's place. It’s more of an administrative setup here rather than one of the big restaurants you might see in the malls. We handle a lot of the coordination and the boring stuff that keeps the food side running. There’s a lot of back-and-forth about supplies and making sure everything is where it needs to be. Dwarka is a bit spread out, so it’s a different vibe than being in the middle of Connaught Place. It’s a bit more residential and quiet around here, which helps when you’re trying to focus on spreadsheets and invoices. We have a lot of paperwork piled up on the desks. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in receipts and order forms. We aren't chefs or anything; we are just the people making sure the business side stays straight. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time on the phone. It’s a small office, so we all know who is doing what. We don't have a fancy canteen or anything like that. We just bring our lunch from home and eat together. It’s just a group of people working a regular job in a regular part of New Delhi. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps things going for the restaurants.
