Marut Sikka Catering

We run Marut Sikka Catering out of Rz-193 in Durga Park. We are tucked away in Gali No 12. If you happen to walk down our street, you can usually smell whatever it is we are cooking for that day. It is a very busy kitchen, and there is almost always someone chopping up vegetables or checking on the big pots on the stove. We started this whole thing because we liked food, and it just grew into a business over time. It is not a fancy catering hall with big lights. It is a real workspace where we get the actual cooking done before we head out to different events. Most of our mornings start very early, like four or five, so we can get all the fresh ingredients ready. The floors are often a bit wet because we are always cleaning something, and there is a lot of noise from the big exhaust fans. We have a small team of cooks and helpers who have been with us for a few years now. We do not spend our money on big advertisements or anything like that. Usually, someone just tries our food at a party and then calls us up for their own event later on. That is how we have managed to keep going. It is hard work, especially when the kitchen gets hot, but we are used to it. Gali No 12 is a tight space for the vans, but we make it work somehow.
