Safron

Safron is located on the ground floor over in South Extension Part 2. If you know this part of Delhi, you know A-34 is right in the thick of things near the main market area. We’ve been operating from this spot for a good while, mostly focusing on interior stuff and furniture pieces. The ground floor space is always shifting because we’re constantly moving items in and out. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the sofas or tables we have sitting around. We don’t have a massive team or a polished sales pitch. Usually, it’s just a few of us here making sure the floor looks decent and answering questions from people who wander in after shopping nearby. The traffic in South Ex can be a nightmare, so we spend a lot of time coordinating deliveries so trucks don't get stuck in the narrow lanes. We deal with a lot of local homeowners and some designers too. There’s no big corporate vibe here; it’s more about the actual wood and fabric. We spend our mornings checking the stock and the afternoons talking to suppliers. It’s a routine we’ve gotten used to. Some days are quiet, and other days it feels like everyone in Delhi decided to walk through our door at once. We just keep at it, making sure we know where every piece is and where it’s supposed to go next. It is just a regular shop where we try to stay organized.
