We are located at 40/50 in Chittaranjan Park. This is a quieter residential area, which makes a nice change from the busier parts of the city. At Delite Furniture Systems, we spend our time making furniture that people can actually use in their homes or small offices. Our shop is not very large, but we have a few pieces on display so people can see what we do. We have been part of the CR Park neighborhood for a long time. You might see us out on the sidewalk sometimes, sanding down a table or checking the finish on a chair in the natural light. It is a small operation, usually just a few of us handling everything from taking orders to moving the furniture. We do not have any big sales pitches or shiny brochures. Most of our customers are just neighbors who have lived here for years. The building we are in is quite old, but it has a nice feel to it. We spend our days measuring wood and making sure everything is put together properly. Sometimes people just stop by to say hello or ask if we can fix a broken leg on an old stool. We do not try to be anything other than a local furniture shop. It is a steady life and we enjoy being part of this community. When the sun goes down, the street gets very peaceful.
