Raro Furniture

Raro Furniture is located at 211, Cariappa Marg in Sainik Farm. It’s a nice, leafy area. We have our workshop and a small area where we show our pieces. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The air usually smells like sawdust and varnish. We make furniture by hand, so it’s a very physical job. We aren't like those big stores in the malls. We do things slowly and carefully. You can often hear the sound of saws and hammers coming from our place. Cariappa Marg is a relatively quiet street, which is good for us. We spend most of our time at the workbenches. We don't have a big sales team. If you come by, you’ll probably talk to one of the people who actually made the furniture. Our showroom is just the front part of the workshop. We don't have bright lights or fancy displays. The furniture speaks for itself. We’ve been in Sainik Farm for years and have many regular clients from the area. We don't use a lot of marketing talk. We just show people what we’ve made. Sometimes the workshop gets a bit messy with wood scraps, but that’s just how it goes. We take pride in the work we do. It’s a small, steady business. We aren't looking to expand into a giant factory. We like the way things are. It’s a good life making things that people will use in their homes.
