Concept Interiors

Concept Interiors is tucked away at F-7 in Lajpat Nagar-III, right behind the Jagdish Store. If you’ve ever been to Lajpat Nagar, you know how packed the streets are with people and shops. Our place is usually overflowing with fabric samples, rolls of wallpaper, and little pieces of wood and tile. It’s hard to find a flat surface that isn't covered in something. We spend a lot of our time looking at colors and trying to match materials together. It’s a lot of talking and sketching out ideas on whatever scrap of paper is nearby. The shop is small, so we’re always shuffling things around to make room for someone to sit down. There’s a constant hum of traffic from the main road, and you can hear the street vendors calling out all day. We’ve got a small air conditioner that struggles when the door is left open, which is most of the time. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, but that’s how we work best. We’re usually checking through catalogs or talking to suppliers about when the next batch of material will arrive. It’s not a quiet job; there’s always something being moved or someone coming in to ask a question. We just try to keep up with the pace of the neighborhood and make sure we don't lose any of the smaller samples in the piles of stuff on the floor.
