New Style Furniture

We set up shop here in Tigri Extn quite a few years ago. If you head down towards Batra Hospital or the Sangam Vihar police station, you’ll find us at C-133. It is not a massive showroom with fancy lights, just a place where we put furniture together. Most days it is just us working with wood and trying to make things that actually last in a normal house. We do chairs, tables, and cabinets mostly. People from the neighborhood usually just walk in when they need something fixed or a new cupboard built for a bedroom. It gets a bit noisy with the saws going, but that is just how it is. Sometimes we are busy and the floor is covered in sawdust, so you have to watch your step. We don't really do the whole big catalog thing because we prefer making things as they come. It is a local operation through and through. Living and working right near the police station means it stays pretty quiet around the shop front most evenings. We aren't trying to be some huge brand you see on TV. We just make furniture that works and we’ve been doing it at this spot for a long time now. If you're passing by the extension, you can see what we're currently working on. It's just honest work with our hands every day. We drink a lot of tea while we talk about the wood grains. Sometimes a project takes a bit longer than we thought it would.
