Auchan International

Auchan International is situated at D-74 in Hauz Khas, New Delhi. The 110016 area is quite famous for its history and its trendy spots, but our office is more about the work than the scenery. We’ve been here for a while, dealing with the international side of things. It’s a bit different than a regular retail shop. We spend a lot of time on emails and coordinating with people in different time zones. The building is an older one, which has its own set of quirks, like the occasional plumbing issue or a slow elevator. We don't mind it much. It gives the place character. Our team is small but we stay busy. We don't use a lot of corporate jargon in our meetings. We just sit around a table and talk about what needs to be done. Being in Hauz Khas is nice because there are good places to grab a quick lunch, though the parking is a nightmare most days. We focus on the logistics and the bigger picture of how things move around. It’s not always exciting work, but it’s necessary. We’ve built up some good relationships over the years just by being consistent. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just do our part and try to stay on top of the paperwork. It’s a steady rhythm that seems to suit us just fine here.
