Laxmi Sugar Mills Company Ltd

Our office for Laxmi Sugar Mills Company Ltd is located in the Siddhartha Building, room 96/704, right in the middle of Nehru Place. If you have ever been to Nehru Place, you know it’s a maze of concrete buildings and people selling electronics. Our office is a bit different because we are focused on the sugar industry, which feels a world away from the computer shops downstairs. It’s a bit of a climb up to the seventh floor, but the lift usually works. Inside, the space is mostly filled with old filing cabinets and desks covered in ledgers. We have been operating out of this building for many years now. It’s not a flashy corporate headquarters with glass walls; it’s more of a place where we sit and manage the logistics of the mills. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people at the factory sites or dealing with the distributors. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped because of all the paperwork that piles up. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep things moving. The noise from the Nehru Place market drifts up even this high, so it never really feels quiet. We aren't doing anything high-tech, just making sure the sugar gets from the mills to where it needs to go. It’s a traditional way of doing business, and we like it that way.
