Our store is at A-32 on the ground floor of Jawahar Park in Khan Pur. We are in New Delhi with the zip code 110062. Being on the ground floor is good because people can just walk right in from the street. Khan Pur is a very crowded and busy area, so there is always something happening outside our door. We do retail work here, which means we spend most of our time on our feet. We are either unpacking boxes or putting things on the shelves for customers to find. It is not a fancy boutique; it is just a regular shop where people buy what they need. The building is a bit older and sometimes the air conditioning doesn't work as well as we would like, especially in the Delhi heat. We have a small staff and we all know each other pretty well. We don't have a lot of formal rules or corporate talk. We just try to keep the place organized and help folks out when they are looking for something specific. Sometimes the deliveries come at the wrong time and the whole place gets cluttered with boxes for a few hours. We just work through it. It is a busy life but we enjoy being right in the middle of Jawahar Park. We see new faces every day and it keeps things interesting.
