Sunshinecitimart is located in the Malviya Nagar area of New Delhi. If you know Delhi, you know how busy the streets get around here. We have been operating out of this spot for some time, dealing with the daily flow of people coming in and out. It’s a typical city shop environment where we try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can. The shelves are usually full of whatever stock came in that morning, and we spend a lot of time just unpacking boxes and making sure everything is in its place. Malviya Nagar is a crowded place, so there is always noise from the street coming through the front door. We have a small team here who knows most of the regular faces that stop by. It isn't a massive corporate warehouse, just a regular mart where we handle the day-to-day business of selling goods. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which is just part of living in Delhi, so we keep the flashlights handy. We try to keep the floors clean, but with so many people walking in from the dusty roads, it’s a constant job. Our desks are tucked in the back where we do the accounts and talk to the suppliers on the phone. It’s a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives, but we manage to fit everything in eventually. We like being in this neighborhood because everything is close by for our staff.
