Sitapur Pahla Up Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Ram Pratap's spot in Tursena Pahla. It is a quiet area for the most part. We set this up because it seemed like the right thing to do for the farmers around here. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find one of us sitting there with some tea and a stack of papers. The office is really just a room where we meet up. We deal with whatever the season brings, like if there’s a delay with the rain or if we need to figure out the transport. Sometimes the phone doesn't have a great signal so we just talk in person. It works out better that way anyway. People know where to find us. We keep the books as best we can. It’s not like those big city offices you see on the news. There are some old fans and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint eventually. We spend our days talking about what the ground needs and how the harvests are looking. It is hard work and nobody is getting rich quick here. We just want to make sure the farmers in Pahla have a place to go when they have questions. It is a humble setup but it serves its purpose for our community. We are just local people doing what we know.
