Out in Wazir Ganj, life revolves around the fields and the weather. Santdev Agri Farmer Producer Company Limited is just a small group of us trying to make things work. Prema Mishra and her family are based over at Pratap Enclave, which is where we often gather to talk about the crops. It is not some big corporate thing with a fancy office. We are just local people who have been farming this land for a long time. Some days are good and some days the rain just doesn't show up when you need it. We started this to help each other out with buying seeds and getting our stuff to the market. It’s hard to do everything by yourself when you’re just one farmer. We share what we know about the soil and the pests. There’s always plenty of work to do, and usually, someone’s tractor needs fixing. We aren't here to make big speeches or look important. We just want to get a fair price for the hard work we put in. Most of us spend our time covered in dust or mud, depending on the season. That is just how it is in 242001. We focus on the day-to-day stuff and looking after our neighbors. It’s honest, simple work that keeps us all busy. We don't have any big secrets, just a lot of patience and a bit of hope for a good harvest every year.
