We don't have a big team of executives; it’s just a few of us who know the land and the people here. We focus on the "prakritik" or natural side of things as much as we can, though it’s mostly just hard work and getting our hands dirty. The office is pretty basic, just a place to keep our papers and have a cup of tea while we talk about the crops. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to finish our work by candlelight, but that’s just part of living in Chodiya Pahala. We are trying to help the farmers in our area get a better handle on their produce. It’s a slow process, and we are learning as we go. We don't have everything figured out yet, but we are here every day making sure things move along. If you’re coming from the main road, Chauriabhajjupur is a bit of a trek, but anyone around here can tell you where Romi lives.
