Sarvashaktiagro Producer Company Limited is run right out of the Seer area, specifically at Mawai Chandra Bhan Singh. Gajendra Singh is the main contact person here, and he handles a lot of the day-to-day stuff that keeps us going. We are a small group of producers trying to navigate the mess of the local markets together. It’s not easy work. Most mornings start very early, before the sun is even fully up, because that’s when the real work in the fields happens. We focus on agriculture because that’s what we have known our whole lives. Our office is just a simple space where we can sit down and look at the books without too many distractions. There’s no air conditioning or fancy chairs, just a table and some plastic chairs where we drink tea and talk about the upcoming harvest. People in the village know us as neighbors before they know us as a company. We don’t go around making big promises to anyone. We just try to get the seeds in the ground and hope for a decent yield when the time comes. Logistics can be a nightmare sometimes, especially when you’re trying to coordinate between different farms in the Mawai area. We have to be practical about everything because money is always tight. If a tractor breaks or the water level in the well is low, we have to fix it ourselves. It’s a slow process building something like this, but we are taking it one day at a time without any rush.
