Pahla Farmers Producer Company Limited is located in the Sitapur district. To find us, you’ve got to head to Sidhouli and then look for the Baadee area. We are over at Bersapur, at the place of Ram Naresh. It’s a quiet village setting where most people are busy with their land. We don’t have a big corporate office. It’s just a house where we handle the company’s affairs. Being a producer company in Sitapur means we are always dealing with the local agriculture cycles. We aren't some big city firm with thousands of employees. It is just a handful of us helping out the local farmers. Ram Naresh is usually around if you need to drop off some papers or ask a question. The roads out here in Bersapur can be a little rough, but we don’t mind. We chose this spot because it is right where the farmers are. It doesn't make sense to be far away in a city. We don't use fancy jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the business side of the farms running. Sometimes we meet under a tree if the weather is nice. It’s a very informal way of working, but it gets the job done for the people in Baadee. We’ve been here for some time now and plan to stay. Knowing everyone’s name in the village makes the work feel a lot more meaningful.
