R C R High School

You can find R C R High School tucked away in Lane-1 of Sector-1, over in New Shimla. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to the busier parts of the city, which is nice for a school. We’ve been at C-15 for quite some time. The building fits right into the neighborhood, so if you weren't looking for the sign, you might just drive right past it. Inside, it's the usual school sounds—chalk on boards, chairs scraping against the floor, and kids talking in the hallways between periods. We don't have a massive campus with stadiums, but we make use of the space we have in Sector-1. New Shimla has grown a lot, and we've seen the streets get busier over the years. Our school stays focused on the basics. We have classrooms that feel lived-in because they are. There’s always a bit of dust on the windowsills from the road work nearby, and sometimes the heaters don't kick in as fast as we’d like during those cold Shimla winters. But we manage. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we know the area well. It’s a local place for local kids. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If you come by Lane-1, you’ll see us there, just a regular high school doing its thing day in and day out. We just keep going, year after year, teaching whoever shows up at our door.
