Mount Shivalik Public School

Mount Shivalik Public School is tucked away in Shimla East, specifically in the 171002 area. It’s a bit removed from the main tourist spots, which makes it a quieter place for the children to learn. We have a regular routine that hasn’t changed much over the years. The school opens up early, and the staff gets busy setting up the classrooms. It’s not one of those high-priced schools with a lot of shiny equipment. We have the basics like boards, benches, and a small area for the kids to run around when they have their break. The hills around here mean the kids get plenty of exercise just walking to the gate. We don't have a big PR department. This is just a local school where the priority is keeping things running smoothly. Some days are better than others, like when the weather is clear and the kids are all behaving. Other days, we are dealing with a leaky pipe or a missing register. We just take it as it comes. The teachers live in the neighborhood, so we see the parents at the local shops or on the way home. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We don’t try to sound like a big corporation. We are just a public school in Shimla East trying to make sure the kids in our community get their lessons done. It’s honest, simple work that we’ve been doing for a long time now.
