Model Public Senior Secondary School

Model Public Senior Secondary School is right in the middle of the Main Market in Karsog. Being in the market means there is always something going on outside our doors. It’s a central location, so it's easy for everyone in Mandi to find us. We have been here for a long time, and the building has seen many generations of students. Because we are in the market area, space is a bit tight, but we make the most of what we have. We have students from the primary level all the way to senior secondary. The noise of the market can be a bit much sometimes, but once the lessons start, everyone settles down. Our staff is a mix of older teachers who have been here for decades and some newer ones from the surrounding villages. We don't have a big fancy gate or a private park, but we are part of the local community. People stop by to talk to us while they are doing their shopping. It’s a very public sort of school. We handle the paperwork, the classes, and the exams without much drama. The rooms are a bit cramped, and the furniture is old, but it gets the job done. We just keep things moving along day by day and try to help the kids get through their studies. The bells can hardly be heard over the market noise, but everyone knows when it is time to go home.
