Our group, Vadamauli Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited, is located in Pirachiwadi. Shriram Sitaram Kadamat let us use his place as our base. Around here, everyone knows everyone. We all have our own small plots of land, but it gets lonely and expensive trying to do everything yourself. That is why we started this. We deal with the soil every day. It is hard work and your hands are always dirty, but it is what we know. We are not trying to be some giant company that takes over everything. We just want to make sure the farmers in Pirachiwadi get a fair shake. The weather here can be tricky, and sometimes the crops do not turn out like we hoped. When that happens, we sit together and figure out what to do next. We do not use big words or have fancy meetings. We just talk over tea and look at the ledgers. We handle seeds, fertilizers, and whatever else the members need. It feels better knowing you have friends doing the same thing. Some days the paperwork is a bit much for us, but we manage. If you look for us, you will find us near the fields or at the house, probably talking about the next harvest. We are not looking to get rich quick, just looking to keep our farms going for another generation. It is just the way we have always done things around here.
