Unifier Fed Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in Jakhangaon, which is in the Khatav taluka of the Satara district. Our office is basically at Shri Ganapat Dhondiram Shinde’s place. It’s a very local operation. Most of us have lived in Satara our whole lives. We know the hills and the fields around here like the back of our hands. We started this company because we saw that farmers were often working alone and struggling to get good prices for their crops. The name Unifier reflects what we wanted to do—bring people together. We don't have a big corporate budget. We just use the space we have in Jakhangaon to coordinate our activities. It’s a place where you can come and have a tea while we talk about the upcoming planting season. We deal with everything from seeds to selling the final produce. It’s a lot of work, and sometimes things get a bit disorganized, but we always find a way through. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished websites. We are just farmers who realized that we are better off working as a team. Khatav is our home, and we want to see the farming community here thrive. It’s about keeping the tradition alive while being a bit smarter about the business side of things. We just take it day by day and hope for good rain.
