We are situated near the highway in the Madave area. It’s a convenient spot for people passing through or for those living in the local villages who don't want to travel all the way into the city for every little thing. We handle a bit of everything here, mostly supplies for construction and some general hardware items. The wind from the highway can be quite strong, so we usually have to keep the heavy doors partially shut to keep the dust out. Our inventory isn't the most organized, but we know exactly where every bolt and tool is kept among the boxes. We’ve been operating here for a while now, and it’s mostly a family thing. We don't spend money on ads. Word of mouth from the neighbors is how most folks find us. Sometimes a truck driver will pull over because they saw our sign from the road and need a quick fix or a tool. The building is simple, just brick and some tin roofing. It gets a bit loud when the big lorries go by, but we don't mind it much after all these years. We usually have a pot of tea going in the back for when neighbors stop by to chat or wait for their order. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to provide what’s needed for the projects around here. It keeps us busy.
