We are part of the Koregaon taluka, and our pin code is 415525. We named the company after the mountains because they are right there and they shape everything we do here. It’s a group of us farmers who wanted to have a collective voice. We don't have a big office building in Satara city. We just use the space Suresh has in Wagholi. It’s very practical. We have some chairs and a desk where we handle the membership and the sales records. Most of our work is done outside under the sky. We grow what the land allows and try to find the best way to get it to the people who need it. It’s a lot of phone calls and ledger entries. We don't use any marketing fluff or talk about missions or goals. We just want to make a living from our land. The Sahyadri hills are beautiful, but they make the work physically demanding. We meet up in the evenings to talk about the water levels and the market rates in Koregaon. It’s a very local thing. Everyone knows Suresh, so they know where to find the company. We are just honest people trying to make the most of our local resources. It keeps us busy all year round.
