Turchi Agro Farmers Producer Company

Our group is based out in Turchi, specifically at Gat Number 2196. It’s a farming area, so most of us grew up around here and know the land pretty well. We decided to come together as a producer company because it made sense for the local farmers in our village. There’s always something to do, whether it’s checking on the crops or dealing with the logistics of moving stuff from the fields. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It’s mostly just a few chairs, some ledgers, and a lot of talk about what needs to happen next for the season. Being in a place like Turchi means you’re always at the mercy of the rains and the market prices, which is why we started this whole thing in the first place. Some days are long, starting before the sun is even up, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with the land. We handle things as they come. If there’s a problem with the harvest, we sit down and figure it out together. The office at the gat isn’t much to look at, but it serves us fine for meeting up and planning out the month. Most of the people involved are just neighbors who have been farming these same plots for years. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep things moving for the families in this part of the district. It’s a slow process sometimes, but we keep at it day after day.
