Our business, Shivmegh Agro Food Processing Private Limited, is located in the Raviwar Peth area of Karad. We work out of Krishnabai Thorat’s place, which is right in the thick of things. Karad is a busy town, and Raviwar Peth is always full of people and activity. We do food processing, so our days are filled with the smells and sounds of the work we do. It’s a private company, but it doesn't feel very corporate because we are right in a residential and market neighborhood. Krishnabai has been here forever, and her home is the heart of what we do. The 415110 area is our home base, and we don't have any plans to move to a big industrial estate. We like being close to the people who buy our products. We don't have any polished slogans or fancy advertisements. We just focus on processing the agro products as well as we can. Sometimes the machines break down or the deliveries are late, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It is a lot of hands-on labor and not much sitting around. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Maharashtra, just a reliable one here in Karad. People know where to find us if they need anything. We just keep our heads down, stay busy, and try to make sure everything we produce is something we would be happy to eat ourselves.
