Shetmajur Shetkari Satara Farmer

We are located over at Plot No. 55 in the Sai Sevashram Housing Society. The place is under the care of Sandesh Ankush Ganvir and is right in Jai Hind Nagar. Shetmajur Shetkari Satara Farmer is a bit of a long name, but it covers what we do, which is working with laborers and farmers in the Satara region. Our office is basically just a part of the housing society, so it feels very much like a home-based operation. There are usually neighbors walking by and kids playing nearby while we are inside trying to figure out the logistics for the farm workers. It’s a very local atmosphere. We don't have a big corporate sign out front, just the address and the people inside who know what they are doing. Most days involve coordinating between different groups and making sure everyone has what they need for the fields. It can get a bit noisy when the whole team is in the office at the same time, and we often run out of chairs, but we make it work. We are just regular people who understand the struggle of the farmers and laborers because we live right here among them. Jai Hind Nagar is a good community, and being based in a housing society keeps us grounded. We don't need a fancy skyscraper to do what we do. A desk and a phone are usually enough to get the job done.
