Royalseed Farm Producer Company Limited is situated in the Satara district of Maharashtra. Specifically, we are over in Dahiwadi, which is part of the Man taluka. You can find us at the place of Bhimrao Pandurang Shinde. He’s been here a long time and his house is where we run the producer company from. It is a very rural area, and the landscape around Dahiwadi is quite rugged. We deal with seeds for the farmers in this region. Satara is known for its agriculture, but the Man taluka can be quite dry, so we have to be careful about what we are doing. The office is basically just a room with some tables and chairs where the local farmers can come and sit. We don't have a website or any of those fancy things. Most of our work happens through face-to-face conversations or on the phone. Mr. Shinde is usually around to help out with whatever is needed. There is always some dust in the air from the nearby fields, and the office smells a bit like dried seeds and earth. It is an honest living. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a group of people in Dahiwadi trying to make the seed business work for everyone involved. It is a long way from the big cities, but we like the peace and quiet of the farm life here.
