Rajmane Agro Farmer Producer Company

You can find us over at H.No.181 in the village of Masur. That is Mallikarjun Vinayak Rajmane’s house, and it is where Rajmane Agro Farmer Producer Company is based. We are in the Karad Taluka of Satara, which is a good place for farming if you know the soil. We aren't some big city operation. We are just a group of local farmers who grew tired of doing everything alone. By coming together, we can share the load a bit. We spend our days out in the fields, mostly. When we need to talk business, we just head over to the house in Masur and sit in the shade. The weather in Satara can be unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time watching the clouds. We grow what we can and try to keep the costs down. It is hard work, and there are many days when things go wrong, like a broken axle or a pump that won't start. We do not have any fancy mission statements. We just want to make sure we can keep our farms running and maybe have a little left over for our families. Most of us have been in this area for generations. We know every corner of these fields. It is just a basic way of living, working with the seasons and hoping the market stays steady enough for us to survive.
