We got this company started because we wanted to have a bit more say in how our crops get sold to the big markets. Sandip handles a lot of the paperwork from his home, but mostly we are out in the fields doing the actual work. It’s a lot of manual labor and we don’t get much rest during the harvest months. We don’t have a marketing team or any of that fancy stuff. We just talk to each other and try to find the best way to get our produce to the buyers without losing money. Sometimes the harvest is plenty and we feel good about things, but other times the insects get the better of us. That’s just how it goes in agriculture.
