Mhasve Agrivision Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated in the village of Mhasve near the Varya post office in Satara. Sachin Ramesh Shelar is the one who looks after things at House Number 065. We are just a group of people from the Taluka who know a lot about farming because we have been doing it our whole lives. We started this company because we wanted to see our village do better. It isn't a flashy business with a big sign out front. It is mostly just neighbors talking about their fields and how to get the crops to the market in a better way. We deal with the heat and the rain just like every other farmer in Satara. Some days are really tough when the rains don't come on time, but we just keep working. Sachin helps keep the records straight at his house and handles the paperwork. We don't use any corporate talk or try to sound like we are something we aren't. We are just practical people who understand the soil and what it needs. We want to make sure the work we do in Mhasve is worth it at the end of the day. It’s about the community here and helping each other get through the harvest season without too many problems.
