Megafarm Agro Producer Company Limited is run out of Manohar Sitaram Bhilare’s house. That is House No.59 in the village of Avakali, in Mahabaleshwar Taluka. It’s a beautiful place to work, even if we are mostly inside looking at papers. We don't have a corporate office with glass walls. We just use the space at Manohar’s house to get things done. It’s a local operation through and through. We work with the farmers in and around Avakali. Being in Mahabaleshwar means we are right where the action is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting people at the door. House No.59 is where all the decisions are made. We don’t have a receptionist or any fancy signs. If you walk up to the house, you’ll find us. We handle the production side of things for the agro company. It’s a lot of coordination and timing. We don't really use any advertising to get people to join us. Most of the folks in the village already know who we are and what we’re doing. It’s a simple life and the work is steady. We just try to keep the records straight and help out where we can. It isn't always perfect, but we put in the hours. We are just regular people working out of a house in Avakali.
