We are a group of women here in Koregaon. It’s mostly about working the land and figuring out how to get things done together. Our office is at 11 Shantinagar. Satara has always been our home. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather doesn't go right. We started this because doing things alone was getting difficult for many of us. We talk about seeds, water, and where to sell what we grow. It isn't fancy at all. There’s a lot of paperwork we deal with, but mostly it's just about the crops and the soil. We meet up and share what we know about the seasons. Shantinagar is where we keep our records and sit down for our meetings. Being a farmers producer company sounds very official, but we are just neighbors. We look at the market prices and try to make sense of them every week. Most of us have been farming since we were kids, so it's in our blood. This is just how life is here in Satara. Sometimes we have tea and discuss the next season’s planting. It's practical work and nothing more. We don't have a big staff or any experts. Just us women trying to manage the farms a bit better. It takes time to get everyone on the same page. We deal with the local markets directly now. It makes the days very long, but that's just the job. We are just around the corner if anyone needs to find us.
